Source1 - DVD - Click HereDeva (Surya) completes post-graduation but works as courier to smuggler Das (Prabhu). The rival smuggler Kamalesh (Akash Deep) can’t digest the success of Das and Deva team. So he hatches several plans to grab clients from them but fails. On the other hand, Chitti (Jagan) joins Das team and the friendship between Deva and Chitti develops. Soon Deva falls in love with Chitti’s sister Yamuna. Rivalry between Kamalesh and Das-Deva leads to bloody clash. Vaishnavi (Jyothika) is a village belle. However, she had modern thoughts and wanted to marry a boy after loving him. Her friends were able to marry the boys with whom they fall in love, but Vaishnavi could not get such an opportunity. Vaishnavi marries Gautham (Suriya) arranged by her father.Though Gautham looked moody during the marriage, they married life goes off well and they had a daughter and they lead a love life in Mumbai. Gautham gets a job in a big car company, while Vaishnavi also goes for a job in a firm. One day, Gautham gets an insult from an engineer during a seminar, who calls him a mechanic.
Irked over the incident, he takes it a challenge and prepares an engine design which gives more mileage on Indian roads. Gautham gets an opportunity to give a demo in the US. While Gautham is away from home, Vaishnavi happens to see an old diary written by Gautham, through which she learns that her husband had already loved a girl called Aishwarya (Bhoomika), daughter of an MP (Costumes Krishna) when he was a student and also married her.But Aish's father takes her away immediately after their marriage as he did not like the alliance. Aish's father sends her to Australia. After the failure in love and marriage, Gautham marries Vaishnavi. In the diary, Gautham writes that he could not spend at least one day with her. Sanjay Ramaswamy (Surya) suffers from short-term-memory-loss (STML). His memory gets refreshes every 15 minutes. He has very few clues about his past. He uses the aid of Polaroid photographs and tattoos to identity people around him and to perform the tasks. He looks out for Lakshman (Predeep Rawat) who killed his lover Kalpana (Asin). The remaining story of the film is about the love track between lead pair and how Sanjay takes his revenge.
Krishnan (Surya) is Surya’s (Surya again!) father. Krishnan and Malini (Simran) are his parents and their yesteryear classic love scenes unveil during their college days in which they both fall in love and get married. His doting father brings up Surya in the most beloved manner.
The story starts off with the teenage Surya’s attitude, love, rage and goes on to his college life. On his way back after completing his studies in Warangal, he meets Meghna (Sameera Reddy) on his way back to Vizag by train. All his attempts to woo her turns futile and she dismisses him saying that love at first sight is not true. Surya undauntedly scouts for Meghna and visits her at her home. Saying, ‘let me see if you can impress me’, Meghna flies off to U.S. for her higher studies.
On his narration to his parents about the girl, his dad supports for his American travel and off he goes to win her heart. He does it yet looses her to the fatal hands of terrorism in a blast. Depraved by her demise, he joins the army. Priya ( Ramya), her childhood love enters the scene and it all ends in a heart warming narration.What made Surya join the army? Who was the new girl Priya in his life? Did he marry her? What’s his father’s role in his life? What happens to Krishnan in the end? The movie holds the answer to all these questions.
